I feel like I have nine lives on WordPress: I disappear for a while, but I always manage to make it back. Β While some of my favorite alone time is spent reading blogs on WordPress, I’ve jumped into the world of education travel coordination with CISabroad, and coordinating faculty-led university student tours of Italy takes every last bit of energy out of me and leaves no time for blogging. Β That being said, I love my new job, and as I travel I’m developing more perspective and knowledge on what’s out there to share with you all.
I’m elated that I’ve finally gotten a little break from work, and last week I went to visit the home office of CISabroad, which is located in the beautiful college town of Northampton, MA. I have a beautiful new iPhone now with lots of memory (since I dropped the last one on its face and it lives no more), and I’m taking advantage of the great new lens on this iPhone and plenty of storage to start vlogging, as I’ve been aspiring to do for years. So here it is, friends, my first vlog in several years. Hope it takes you into the world of beautiful Northampton. And I hope you enjoy it! Here’s to many more…
OMG!!! You were a mere 30 MINUTE drive from where I live! I go to ‘Hamp all the time. (Newbies call it NoHo π ) I wish I knew you were here, we could have met up. Promise me if you come by again, we’ll do lunch!! π
Ah! I don’t know why it didn’t click that you lived near here! Bummer! But I loved it and I would love to go back. So I won’t forget now and will let you know, I promise! What fun it would be to meet after all this time. :)) Yes, ha, exactly! The training videos they make us watch for work always refer to the home office as the NoHo office. π What a beautiful area to live in! Makes sense now from all of your gorgeous photography.
I look forward to your next visit, Peggy. If you like walking in beautiful country, I’ll be your guide. I know some awesome spots. π
I really do – I would love to. Sounds lovely. My colleagues at CISabroad recommended it, but they were busy at work and I didn’t have access to a car so it didn’t work out. But I kept myself busy in town. π Have you been to the Smith College Museum of Art current exhibition of representations of nature through art? I really loved it! π
We haven’t been there in a while. We’ll have to check it out, it sounds like something I would enjoy. It is a small enough museum to go through, then grab some dinner. Thanks for the recommendation. π
Yes exactly! Really accessible and only $5. Although I think they close at 4 – not sure about weekends. But yes, I thought of the exhibit right away when I saw your first comment. The exhibit shows so much respect for the local environment, just like your photos. π
Thanks!
Very nice, so fun.
Thanks so much for your comment, Terry! So glad you enjoyed it. π
pretty lovely vlog! the streets look just lovely ^^ .. I stumped upon it so excuse my late comment haha.
No worries, I appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment. Thanks for your sweet words! π I’m glad you liked it…
Vlogging is such a different animal~~ I tried and battle so much. What software are you using?
It really is! It takes planning while you are there so you can get the right shots. So challenging! I actually did this editing on my iPhone, believe it or not! What have you tried?
Wow! Editing on the phone? I have only tried YouTube’s and the more PPT than photo editing Sony Movie creator ?
Yes, I got a new iPhone with more memory, so I’m able to do editing on the iMovie app with no problems. Pretty easy, give it a try if you have an iPhone! π
Nice video in Northampton! Good luck in your vlogging endeavours !
Thank you, Shamim! π You are giving me great inspiration to get going on my vlogging again! π
